Quality Manager Opportunity!
A company dominating their niche is seeking an exceptional Quality Manager to join their team. In this highly visible role, you will be a critical contributor to furthering company growth and development.
Quality Manager Responsibilities:
- Leads team: responsible to coach and mentor to success
- Identify quality problems by implementing a system to track all defects, returns, etc.
- Oversee and contribute to key company projects and new product rollout
- Owns the corrective action implementation efforts post-customer feedback
- Leads Root Cause Analysis Team on noncompliance, quality issues
- Monitors and reports the performance of the quality control systems
- Reports status of plant’s quality metrics at Quarterly Management Review
- Supporting activities to ensure reliability and quality standards with new vendor and/or new materials
- Creates training materials and administers training sessions to ensure relevant quality standards and regulations are communicated and compliant
- Works with ISO System Certification Company to maintain ISO Certifications
- Owns the process of developing work instructions, test procedures, and implementation of policies and procedures
- Write clear Quality Management Standards and Systems
- Implement change throughout the organization and report progress
- Leader on the continuous improvement team
- Identify potential risks and implement countermeasures appropriately
- Oversee and implement processes for collecting and analyzing production samples and evaluation of quality
- Create and review statistical data and ensure the trends are going in the intended direction
- Oversee analysts, technicians, and engineers responsible for quality data and storage
- Participate in plant budget review and representative for quality operating budget
- Work cross-functionally with purchasing, sales, and other relevant departments to maintain requirements and expectations
- Direct production activities when known defects
Quality Manager Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of Quality experience in manufacturing required
- Must have at least 2-years of experience leading/managing teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel is a must. (MS Project is a plus)
- ISO or AS Certifications
